Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias)

Ciconiiformes Family: Bitterns,
Herons and Egrets (Ardeidae)
This one appears to be sunning himself. Much like we humans
enjoy the feel of the warm sun on a cool day, it appears as if this one does
too.
